Shana’s passion for youth development, community service and workforce development has evolved into a rewarding career in the non-profit sector. For 20 years Shana has successfully managed workforce development programs for opportunity youth and college students, led volunteer and after school programs, facilitated career-readiness training, and built collaborative partnerships across sectors. In addition to five years of experience in government relations, she focused on education reform and constituent services. Shana is committed to providing underrepresented individuals with the training and experience needed to build careers that provide economic stability and mobility. As the executive director of the Urban Technology Project, Shana is responsible for preparing and developing the skills of nearly 75 apprentices for careers in tech.
