Maria Ferloza
Founder & CEO
Maria is the founder and CEO of TEACH and has been working in the education sector for over 15 years. Maria taught Algebra 1 for many years at Mastery Charter School. During her time teaching, she saw that her 9th graders were consistently on a 6th grade level and was determined to do something about it, so she started TEACH in 2011. Over the last 13 years, TEACH has brought in-person tutoring to over 10,000 local students who wouldn’t otherwise have access to tutoring through longtime partnerships with over 50 area schools and nonprofits. TEACH offers exceptional 1-on-1 and school-based instruction in academics, test preparation and enrichment. Additionally, TEACH provides professional development and consulting services for school and non-profit partners.
Sara Mari
Director of Business Operations
Sara is the Director of Business Operations at TEACH. She has over a decade of experience in program management, strategy development and team leadership across sectors.
