Justin Ennis

Executive Director

Justin Ennis joined the POBS team as Executive Director in summer of 2023 with more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. His experience includes innovative after school programming, creating opportunities to lift students and families out of poverty, and establishing strategic partnerships across public and private sectors to build stronger communities and close the gap of educational disparities. In addition, Ennis attended school in Philadelphia and is the son of a School District of Philadelphia teacher. Prior to Outward Bound Justin served as Executive Director of After School Activities Partnerships for 12 years.

Kim Globek

Director of Education and Partnerships

Kim serves as the Director of Education and Partnerships at the Philadelphia Outward Bound School (POBS), one of Outward Bound USA's 10 regional schools. At POBS, she oversees the team that engages school, community-based, youth serving, professional and educational partners in experiential and progression focused programming. A native Philadelphian and experiential educator with over 25 years of experience working with the School District of Philadelphia and youth-serving organizations throughout  the city, Kim values the principles and evolution of experiential teaching and learning and character and youth development. She is an advocate for using the outdoors as a vehicle for learning and creating opportunities for youth and adults to navigate individual and group challenges, foster teamwork, and create a supportive environment that extends beyond their experience.
